Professional soccer player, Melissa Tancredi was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are Ann-Marie and Peter Tancredi. Growing up in Ancaster, Ontario, she began playing soccer when she was 4 years old. As a teen, she attended Cathedral High School. Melissa graduated in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Pre-Medicine, from the University of Notre Dame. 2014 was a busy year for her, as she graduated from Logan University, with a masters degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Competing in 3 Olympics (Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016), she has earned 2 bronze medals. Melissa resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she is a chiropractor at the Workshop Performance Clinic.
