Scottish-born filmmaker and visual artist Kristofer Muir began his career while studying Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art by scoring short films. In 2011 he co-founded LifeUp Productions, which worked alongside companies such as 343 Industries, Microsoft and Epic Games. In 2013 Kristofer won a place on a pitching and storyboarding workshop with Pixar Director Mark Andrews and lead on to producing the short film "The Job" which screened at Festival de Cannes 2014 in the Cannes Court Métrage, Short Film Corner. He then left LifeUp and founded Studio Black in 2014, moving in the direction of art, fashion and high concept film. Since then Kristofer has continued to work with clients such as Ubisoft while moving into fashion film with clients like Abandon Ship and Obscure Couture. In 2015 Kristofer opened Broadscope Studios with photographers Martin D Barker and Elliott Hatherley, providing Scotland's largest daylight infinity cove for hire. Kristofer is based in Glasgow, where he investigates experimental film, scores music for film and is an artist member of the VAU.
