Vedavit R Shetty was born in Lowell, MA to multi-talented actor couples Raghuram Shetty and Prathibha Shetty. When he was only 6 months old, his father, a writer/Director/Actor helped his theatrical debut in New England. Featuring as "Six days old Six face baby", an Indian mythological lead character, he mesmerized audience. Since then he has played leading roles in over 100 unique theatrical shows in variety of dramas, dance-dramas, and musicals across USA. His exceptional acts involved local and international audience from many world conferences to charity fund raisers in many major theaters of New England, Michigan, Florida and California. He made his Hollywood debut in 2012 after he and his brother Vivaswan surprised by winning several acting awards in International competitions including International Presentation of Performers at Hollywood in 2011. 23 Hollywood Agents/Managers showed interests to represent. However, living in San Francisco Bay, he and his family had to go through tough times. As Driving 800 miles round-trips 2-3 times/week to LA on short notices with 2 yr old baby brother for auditions and shoots posed challenges to his mom. He moved temporarily to Burbank with his mom. He was featured in Comedy Central and few short-films. Just when things looked bright, his grand mother became terminally ill and whole family went for a bigger sacrifice by moving temporarily to India. Along with Hollywood coaches, Vedavit was trained by his all-rounder father in many ancient and vibrant East Indian performing arts such as "Yakshagana" (world's advanced dance-drama theater), "kOla/teyyam", variety of folk dances, ancient marshal arts, yoga and so on. He also featured as Model in several fashion shows from Silicon Valley to Hollywood. Along with top Academic achievements, he is an excellent Athlete(wrestler, long/triple jumper, Track n' Field, many sports) and made it to Junior Olympics/US Nationals many times.
