Edson Penate

Edson Penate was born on October 23, 1994, to Salvadorian parents. Edson grew up in Orange County, California, when he was younger he acted in an elementary school play that would unknowingly create a spark between him and acting. In the middle of his high school years, he moved to Henderson, Nevada, it wasn't until after he graduated that his love of films such as; Pretty Woman and Jurassic Park would ignite a passion for acting. In 2020, Edson graduated from, The University of Nevada Las Vegas, with a bachelor's in hospitality management. In between acting jobs, he has worked at a small variety of hotels and resorts located in Las Vegas, Nevada. He began attending casting calls and joined a small acting group of influential peers. Most of Penate's training would come from participating in various short films. In March 2022, he appeared in Fox's hit show 9-1-1. Edson finds motivation in his love for cooking, listening to music, and swimming. As the oldest brother of two, Penate is driven by his families closeness and the ability to overcome many obstacles. Edson looks forward to broadening his career in the future and hopefully work closely with his idols, Colin Farrell and Javier Bardem.
