Nancy Correa Schilbe was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, to Gladys A. Rivera-Correa and Gil Correa. She delved into the world of Performing Art, honing her skills through workshops at the prestigious Piven Academy and Second City in Chicago. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, Nancy pursued her Bachelor's in Business at Loyola University. However, her passion for storytelling led her to explore the realms of writing, where she found her breakthrough in a series of captivating short stories and fan-fiction. Nancy completed her Creative Writing and Film certification from Full Sail University in 2021, and is furthering her expertise at Full Sail University, where she is diligently working towards her Bachelor's of Science in Film and Digital Cinematography and is due to graduate in early 2025 Nancy's talent didn't go unnoticed, as evidenced by her nomination for a Hugo Award for her exceptional work on "When Fear Speaks." With a diverse background and a dedication to her craft, Nancy continues to make waves in the world of storytelling and filmmaking. She has worked with writers at Monkey Paw Productions and has collaborated with fellow writers and published authors. She just completed her debut project, a screenplay pilot for a series, with episodes to follow and a short film "Whiskers and Whispers." She has several short stories published online and a children's book for Amazon, "Assorted Cookies." Nancy is an experienced Producer, Director, Screenwriter, Editing, and Production.
