Born in Sopot,Poland; Dorota Lopatynska de Slepowron has had a natural flair for art and creativity since her childhood. At seven, she was awarded the best painting award at school. Then she attended art lessons at the prestigious Cultural Centre in Sopot (Poland) for eight years where her talents were further developed under the careful guidance of well-known Polish painters and sculptors. In her young age, she was further trained in dancing and singing. She sang and danced on the stage at "Gedanus", a famous cultural club in the 80s in Gdansk, Poland. She attended "Children of Gdansk" for her art lessons and participated in dance and model shows in Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia called together as the Tri-city. Dorota is married to Dr Atonu Pal, PhD. They have one daughter, Marta. After marriage, they lived in Goa, India for 3 years when she began her modelling career. Then, in Poland, she excelled in entrepreneurship when she set up her English language training school "Dona" in Gdansk, Poland. It was a great achievement because her school was the first of its kind in Gdansk in 1990. She was the Company Director with her husband as the Principal. Then she moved to cosmopolitan London, England with her husband and daughter in 1995. She enhanced her education in Information Technology, Desktop Publishing and Web Authoring in London. She also studied Arts and History with the Open University. In London, Dorota began to shine in the cultural arena. All her creative talents - acting, singing, dancing, modelling, designing and painting on canvas - began to bloom. She has always loved the stage, camera lights and attention. Her husband became her Manager. In 2006, she acted in various Bollywood films in London. She acted with the Indian Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. She continued her success in British show business too. She appeared in TV shows, Commercials, Music Videos and films. She was signed by Channel 4 in their show "How to look good naked" with star stylist Gok Wan. In 2008, she appeared in "Dr Who Auction" with David Tenant at the Friday Night Project. The same year she was on ITV in Trinny & Susannah Show. In 2008, she was the Lead artist as Buffy Lavish in a hip hop music video "Show Me Something" by Jack Frost. In 2011, she received the Lead role in a music video for David Lynch's song "Good Day Today". One Hollywood Director visited her London home, he came with a $250,000 offer because he was charmed with her great personality, and gorgeous green eyes and amazed with her unique talents. In 2012, she was approached by Knickerbockerglory TV for BBC3 and she finished filming the TV Serial "Boom Town" for BBC3 that went on air in 2013 in the UK. She was the most popular actress in Boom Town, I acted in all six episodes of Boom Town as Mermaid, Detective Nikita, the President in Alien encounter scene, Claudia in Vampire scene and other emotional scenes. Boom Town: went to the top 10 at the Cannes TV Festival shortlist as well with world-wide distribution by ITV Studios Global Entertainment. Her husband wrote the scripts for all her scenes in Boom Town (2013). Together they made a short film "The Woman in Black", it is available on YouTube and in her personal website, www.mystical-rainbow.co.uk Dorota has a passion in a greener environment with minimum pollution. Her interest in orgone energy stems from the scientific experiments in bountiful growth of plants and vegetables with orgone devices. Later her interest in cleaner environment and cultural values led to her Miss Commonwealth prestigious titles in London. She was awarded Mrs Commonwealth England Environment and Poland Environment Queen of Friends of the Commonwealth in both 2007 and 2009. She became a Cultural Ambassador to represent both England and Poland, she appeared in costumes on the stage representing both these countries and their cultural values and she spoke about her continuous work to improve our natural environment on this planet. Her noble mission was recognized with a Triple Crown award in the 2009 event in London. Dorota coached her daughter, Marta, to become a Beauty Pageant Queen. Marta was a Miss London Finalist in 2008 and Miss Commonwealth England Environmental in 2007 and 2009. Marta is an air stewardess, has studied Arts & History with the Open University. Dorota is unique, great personality full with original ideas. She has great respect for the old pre-war Polish culture in the 1930s when Hanka Ordonowna glorified the Polish culture with her nostalgic love songs and sensual tangos. Today Dorota is the Voice of Old Poland, she tries to revive the old Polish culture by singing Ordonowna's songs. She creates her own costumes and choreography. Her husband makes the videos. Dorota's singing videos include "Love Forgives All", "O Sole Mio", "Blue Express", "In the Heat of the Night", "If You Love Me", "Who Cares About Our Love", "I Know" and "It's Difficult". Dorota has great achievement in painting on canvas. She is a dedicated Fine Artist of natural talent with vision. She draws her inspiration from mysticism, mythology and nature. She explores colors, their potentials and textures in her paintings and nature. Gustav Klimt and Pablo Picasso are her favourite artists. She has about 70 paintings in her collection today. They don't represent a realistic world, these are paintings on canvas of complete metaphors in which every color and every element has its own meaning. Dorota had her first public art exhibition at Southfields in London in 2003. In 2005, Polish Weekly, a London magazine, published an article, "Colours of Dreams". Then another London magazine, Polish News, published a long article on her paintings, entitled "Sunflowers". Both the articles paid tribute to her as a highly talented Fine Artist and published photos of her artworks. Her second art exhibition was in 2005 at Enfields Arts Zone in North London. During the second exhibition, her art project "ABC Book for Children" was presented to school authorities. Dorota is now at the prime of her creative career. She is a British citizen with British passport and she lives permanently in London.
