Hank Bagwell is a rare mix between business and creative. He was born Rondal Harold Effinger Franks Jr in Springfield, MO on February 6, 1978 to Velma White and Harold "Corky" Effinger who ran a restaurant together in Arkansas. From the age of three he was raised by his mother and later adopted by his step father, James. While attending a small high school, he fell in love with film, photography, and theater. After high school he backpacked around the globe, working with humanitarian organizations raising money for schools and hospitals and homeless shelters. When 9-11 happened he enlisted into the US Army in a pilot program for SFAS. During his training he was injured and could no longer serve. At the advice of his mother, after returning home, he sold real estate for a number of years and had great success until the crash of '08 and struggled financially until he was eventually bankrupt. In 2014 he moved to Nashville to study film- he had $200 to his name. He went on to study Entertainment Business at Full Sail University and then started a production company making a few shorts that won some awards and garnered some attention. In the years to follow he wrote a novel, began a passion project documentary about Vietnam veteran issues, a short documentary about country music legend William Lee Golden, a reality program about his friend Ronnie McDowell, and a few other unscripted shows. Hank was married one time for less than two years. He has one daughter.
