Mason Mills has worked on and off for Public Television in Richmond, Virginia since 1988. He started as a part time production technician and worked his way from running camera, audio, lighting and into editing, producing and Directing by the late 90's. In 2005 He was Producer/Director for the nationally distributed documentary, "Wilder: An American First". Mason continues to work for VPM (formerly known as The Community Idea Stations) as a Senior Producer/Director for long-form/documentary programs. The latest documentaries, "Alzheimer's: The Caregiver's Perspective"(2016) and "Revolutionizing Dementia Care" (2018), are released through American Public Television. Mason is currently (2019) in pre-production on the third documentary for the ongoing series of dementia films for VPM.
