Jens Wagn Rasmussen

Jens Wagn Rasmussen (Oct. 1, 1961- Dec. 24,1993) was the son of Esben Wagn Rasmussen and Inge Mette Wang, both of whom were missionaries to Tanzania. He starred in Lasse Nielsen's and Steen Herdel's film "La 'os være". The film premiered in the Grand Cinema and a picture of Jens Wagn Rasmussen in 2 x normal size was set up on Støget next to Mikkel Bryggersgade, Copenhagen. For a few months the family phone rang from morning to night from girls who had seen the movie. Each time there was a premiere in a provincial town the number of calls increased. It was absolutely unhealthy for a child aged 12-14. Jens only appeared in this one film. He died on Christmas Eve in 1993. Details of his death are unknown. He was buried at Birkerød - Assistens og Søholm Kirkegård.
