Marissa was born on April 23, 1994 the youngest child. To parents Kimberly Hoath and Wayne Cubbon. She has 3 sisters Chantelle, Charmaine and Renee. also has another sister and a brother that she didn't know about until she was in the fifth grade. Marissa's life was a roller coaster that led to depression by the age of 14. When Marissa was 4 she disappeared for a day. When Marissa was 5 she met a girl named Nicole they instantly became best friends, who is still her best friend until this day. Shortly after meeting, Marissa and her entire family moved to Kamloops, British Columbia. Her dad would leave for work in Calgary and her mother would work evenings. They only lived in British Columbia for the year before moving back to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She instantly went back to being best friends with Nicole when she returned to Saskatoon. Her sisters and herself never really got along, constantly getting into fights which would sometimes turn physical. They now barely fight, and are closer then ever. Marissa, joined piano and guitar lessons when she was in elementary school. Decided not to continue either instrument. She found a love for the arts and began to participate in the after school drama club, she loved being in that class even though most of her friends quit the club. in high school Marissa started being more reserved and shy. it affected her making friendship and opening up to people around her. Later stated that she went into a depression following her dads confession about substance abuse. When Marissa was 16 her parents split, although they were never married. Her mother told her that she wanted to leave her dad many years ago but stuck it out until Marissa and her sisters were old enough to see why the relationship needed to end. After her parents split Marissa decided to end the relationship she had with her father. When Marissa removed her dad from her life, she began to get over her depression but knows that it is a life struggle. Marissa, wants to make her mom proud and wants to help her mom in any way possible.
