Fascinated about acting and theatre from an early age, George always featured as part of the school shows. He was determined to leave high school to go straight into Drama school, however, circumstances dictated that this could not happen. Instead he served his time as an apprentice mechanic, whilst taking part in local amateur dramatic performances. He wrote his first production (a pantomime) at age of 17 along with some friends, which they then produced and performed to public audience December 1977. After getting married, George joined the Fire Service and has had a successful career spanning over 30 years. In the late '90's Part of his job was to train other Fire Officers with media skills, including TV studios and how to present themselves on camera when interviewed. This led to requests from other agencies for George to use his on-screen presentation skills for corporate films. He joined Equity in 2000 and attended many training workshops with a view to part time professional acting training. He then went to New York where he graduated from the New York Film Academy (Acting for Film). He has written, directed and acted in several award-winning short films and theatre productions. In 2016 he wrote and toured the successful stage play 'Home Help'. He is the director of Blazebuster Productions. 2020 saw the completion of his first full length feature film GetMeLovedUp.com which he wrote, directed and produced. George values the discipline of acting on both stage and screen and continues to play an active part in front and behind the scenes.
