Facundo Escudero Salinas was born in 1986 in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires. When he was 17 years old with his second short film "Los lápices siguieron escribiendo" won a scholarship to study filmmaking in Buenos Aires City. He moved next year and studied at CIC (Centro de Investigación Cinematográfica). He went on to found Pensilvania Films in 2013 with Nicolás Münzel Camaño, producing several documentaries and feature films. As a film director, he debuts with Broken.
