John C. Woodley is a Meisner trained actor with a BFA in Theater Performance from Niagara University. En route to becoming a police officer, he decided to shift his focus to acting when he enrolled into Niagara University's Theater department, just two days prior to the start of the Fall semester. He completed Acting Apprenticeships from Vassar College's Powerhouse Theater, as well as at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Since then, he's been breathing life into the characters he plays, making sure to bring everything necessary from script to screen. His on-screen credits include 14 episodes on the TV Series "The Church" as Series Regular-Lead, and was last seen in the new TV Episodic "Twenties," "General Hospital," and "Wild West Chronicles." John is highly skilled at doing accents and enjoys singing and playing the guitar. Growing up, he was very athletic. He was an avid swimmer and played all kinds of sports, excelling in martial arts. He counts the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy as his favorite films. John is trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and a former Lifeguard. He saved two lives using CPR. In May 2018, while rock climbing with a friend in Joshua Tree, John fell off a cliff that was 22 feet high. He was alone at the time of his fall but, luckily, was found by park rangers and survived with just a broken leg. He believes God still has plans for him, and in addition to having an acting career, one of those plans would be saving peoples lives.
