Sean was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1972, to Helen and David Esterline. Sean was raised just northeast of Fort Wayne, near Leo, Indiana. One year after earning his B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, he eventually enrolled in Concordia Theological Seminary, earning a Masters in Divinity in 2000. Sean was installed as the pastor of Grace English Lutheran Church in Chicago, Illinois, in June of 2000. In January of 2004, he moved to his current home of Evansville, IN.
