Reema Nagra

Reema Nagra was born in Matsqui, a suburb of Vancouver, B.C. Her father, was an Indian Boxer and a business man. Reema grew up in Mission, B.C. and spent most of her childhood playing basketball, and later a Varsity Star in the Canadian Intercollegiate Sport (CIS) league, which is known as Division 1 of Canadian University Sports. The perseverance she learned from basketball later came in handy for her role as an immigrant in Academy Award short-listed film WWW: Work Weather Wife (2014). She gave a memorable performance in the film and pulled off an accent of a language she was unfamiliar with.
