Born in the United States, August 8th, 1979 and raised in Chicago, IL, Fame Douglas discovered his passion for martial arts at age 5. Like many martial artists today, he was inspired by action films stars such as Bruce Lee, Taimak, Jean Claude Van Damme and Michael Jai White. Received private training in self-defense by his best friend's step-father, Shellie Broxton (deceased 2003) while growing up in the heart of Chicago's west side. His natural athleticism allowed him to excel in his training under Masters Kenneth Young (Shorei-Goju Karate/Tae Kwon Do - Chicago, IL) and Pat Malone (Tae Kwon Do/Jiujitsu * Wausau, WI). A brief stint as an amateur pro-wrestler in the Merrill, WI based ECWA, a promotion led by Joshua Jaeger, is where Fame had his first experiences acting. Later he went on to apply his abilities in amateur MMA and Kickboxing as a heavyweight in Wisconsin based promotions Konquer The Kage and Hybrid Entertainment's kick-boxing events. Residing in Wausau, WI, United States of America, Fame is well known among peers for his speed, explosive athleticism and kicking techniques which are uncommon traits for heavyweight fighters. In his spare time he enjoys reading, martial arts training, music and video games.
