Miranda Jean Larson is an actress, screenwriter, and filmmaker living in Philadelphia. She is a graduate of Pace University in NYC and earned a BA in Theatre Arts (Acting) with a Minor in Film where she studied screenwriting, producing, and production. Originally from Southern Utah near Las Vegas, she grew up performing in musical theater reviews and creating short films with her brothers that they would record in their childhood home and dance studio. Her first short film "Innocence" was screened at film festivals around the world in 2018 and won Best Short Film at the IFFNY Film Festival, and three awards at the Top Shorts Online Film Festival including Best Indie Film in March 2018. She plays one of the lead roles in Innocence as well as being the screenwriter, co-director, and one of the producers for the film. More recently, Miranda has been working both as an actress and as a film editor with Original CINematic, LLC working on indie horror films in the local Philadelphia area. Her latest film with Original CINematic, "One for the Road", was produced with the permission of Stephen King who wrote the short story the film was based on.
