Nic Alexander

Nic Alexander was born in Madison, Wisconsin, to his mother Nancy and his father Steven. He is of mainly Irish, German and Swiss descent. His mother is an artist and is also a retired art teacher. His father was absent quite frequently, and eventually, Alexander's parents divorced when he was seven. Growing up, Alexander got to spend a lot of time with his grandparents on his mother's side, William and Ellen, and credits them, along with his mother, as being the strongest influences in his life. Alexander was an only child, and spent a lot of time by himself and discovered writing at a young age. He would draft up stories and skits and then perform them for his family. After doing theatre in high school, he moved to Minneapolis and performed his own material in local bars and venues. In 2012, Alexander started his production company, Phantom Moth Productions, and made five independent films over the next three years. He currently lives in Los Angeles. (2017)
