A first generation Caribbean-American, Alesia Etinoff is an LA-based writer and comedian. Most recently, 19 Weeks, the short film that she wrote/starred in alongside Lamorne Morris, Sherri Shepherd, and Marque Richardson, was featured in POPSUGAR and Shadow & Act; the film was executive produced by Zoe Saldana's company, Cinestar. Alesia was a writer on SUGAR & TOYS, a FuseTV show created by Boondocks producers Carl Jones and Brian Ash. And, in 2018, she created the Television Academy's - 'Young Writers to Watch,' a 10 week writers intensive with weekly guests and an industry showcase that led to representation, staffing meetings, and development for the participants. Her 2017 web series Avant-Guardians won Best Short Form Dramedy at the prestigious NYTVF, was nominated for best web series at ABFF, and was an official selection for the '18 LA Film Festival and Downtown LA Film Festival. It's received rave reviews from Essence Magazine, Bust Magazine, Decider and TubeFilter. She is a UCB Diversity Scholar and received a BFA in Dramaturgy from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama in 2014.
