Christian Gridelli

In 2008, Christian graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Film and Video. During his time at Columbia, he participated in the American Pavilion internship program at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007. There he was accepted into the Adobe Reel Ideas Studio taking on the responsibility of producing an original short film about the festival with team of other filmmakers. After his time at Columbia, he immediately began associate producing for television in Chicago, by the time he left he had 14 episodes of History Channel and Biography Channel programing under his belt, as well as various short form pieces for Comcast OnDemand. A founding member of DimeStore Films, Christian has co-produced and directed a dozen short films along with co-writing over 30 scripts. In September of 2013 Christian co-produced, co-wrote, and directed his first feature length comedy, The Origins of Wit & Humor. DimeStore Films is Christian Gridelli and Hunter Norris, a pair of DIY filmmakers from Chicago who've been working together for nearly a decade. As DimeStore Films, Christian and his co-producing partner, Hunter, have written/produced/shot/edited over a dozen short films and commercials for some of Chicago's most notable, new tech startups. Their written collection of webseries', short films, sketches, ad campaigns, commercial spots, and feature length projects more than doubles that number. They have screened shorts at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, Chicago's Backyard Film Festival (where their short film "5K" won first prize), iO Vidiocy Film Festival, and the Indie Incubator Film Festival. DimeStore Films' latest project, The Origins of Wit & Humor, is a feature length comedy they co-produced, wrote, and directed.
