Jenny Johns was born on August 21st 1977 as Jennifer Stickland and grew up in Oxfordshire, England where she attended King Alfreds School, Wantage. She went on to study for a BA combined Hons in English and Drama at Exeter University in 1998 and earned her PGCE at Trinity College, Carmarthen in 2000 to become a primary school teacher and drama specialist in a special needs school. Acting had always been her passion though and in 2009 went back to study at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where she was a Carlton Hobbs Bursary nominee and winner of the Newton Blick Award 2011 for outstanding versatility in a leading actor. She is best known for playing The Rev Jenny Green in Derren Brown: The Experiments (2011) The Guilt Trip and an appearance in BBC Radio 4's "The Archers".
