Tania Amsel was born to parents Annet and Terry Gardner. She changed to Amsel which is also a family name. Growing up in both England and Holland. Tania started acting at a young age when she appeared in stage productions at school and became a member of the National Youth Theatre but Tania wanting to get more involved in acting she attended The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Whilst still training at (RCS) she filmed 'Exchanged and Mart' with Ewan Bremner, the film went on to win Short film awards around the world, including attending Sundance, Berlinale and was nominated for a BAFTA. She is also writer with her own production company 'Now'89 Productions' working in films and Theatre. Her own play Blood Orange is to premiere in 2019.
