Mary Miranda

Mary was born and raised in the city of Havana, Cuba. At the age of 12, Mary and her family moved to the United States. It was a very big adjustment for her, and she didn't know any English. Growing up, as a young girl, she was inspired and moved by American music. Mary remembers watching Disney's "Snow White" and singing the songs in English. She started enjoying other types of music, from artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Journey, and more. She started learning the English language by listening to American music. Mary auditioned for The Voice, and was able to make it onto the show. Shakira, Blake, and Usher turned their chairs for her, and she chose Shakira. Mary has been going to school to further her education in business, science, communication, and law. She is currently studying theatre and training as an actor.
