David grew up in Doylestown, PA where he attended Central Bucks High School. He went to Doane College in Nebraska on a football scholarship as a quarterback and graduated with a BA degree in Speech Communications. He went to Officer's Candidate School, was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U. S. Army Infantry and spent a year on the DMZ in Korea. Coming home and heading to New York City to start his acting career, he was soon hired to play Lazar Wolf in a regional production of Fiddler On The Roof. He stayed on the road for over two years doing comedies and musical comedies as well as working in television and film. David became only the third person to join The Screen Actor's Guild from the state of North Carolina. He subsequently went out to Los Angeles, CA where he immediately found work including a role with Patty Duke. To date, he has done over 100 commercials (IBM, Mercedes, KFC) and voice-overs, as well as hosted a TV game show. He has worked in sitcoms, dramatic shows and numerous stage productions working with such actors as Charlie Sheen and Pamela Anderson. He was a lead actor in a Sundance film that won multiple awards and did a skit for Conan O'Brien's Production Company. He currently resides in Los Angeles and is active in the business.
