Federico Velasco studied Film making in the IDAC (Instituto De Arte Cinematográfico de Avellaneda). He owns Freakshow Press publishing house, which publishes such magazines as Comiqueando, Komikku and Power Magazine. In 1999 as a comic book writer he won "El Eternauta" award for the Best Fanzine for Buenos Aires City of Heroes. He had his comic book Kinara published by Domus Editora along with several other short stories. He was hosting a program Zona de culto (Flores FM / Radio Psicofxp) and participated as a specialized columnist on the radio. During the Unusual Film Festival he lectured on films and comics. In 2010 him and Sergio Estilarte won the competition of the INCAA digital feature film for her project Callcenter.
