David LaTorre

David LaTorre is an actor, theatrical producer, and teaching artist who received his BFA in Musical Theatre from the SC School of the Arts at Anderson University. Some of his favorite credits at AU include Bob Wallace (White Christmas) and Henry (Next to Normal). David has also enjoyed performing other roles in the upstate such as the Miss Nelson is Missing tour with the SC Children's Theatre and the Annual 24 Hour Musical (Market Theatre Company). He has produced musical revues, cabarets, and original shows in Anderson, Columbia, and surrounding areas. David has also worked as a guest director for The Abbeville Opera House. David worked as a teaching artist for multiple school districts and theatres before getting hired in entertainment at Universal Orlando Resort in the Universal Holiday Parade featuring Macys and the Halloween Horror Nights event. Since then, David has moved back to Columbia, SC as a private acting coach and is honored to be recently named Director of Youth Theatre at the historical Town Theatre.
