Kyle Blackwell

Kyle made a few short films years ago and these were learning experiences. Kyle plans to make films about issues that he cares about and is going to focus on the quality of work, rather than quantity. He tends to want to work on his own material. He also continues his education. Kyle cares about social issues, historical issues, and the cause of equality. He is concerned about the direction that films are heading. He does not care much for computer-generated imagery and feels that too many films are made that glamorize violence. Kyle is concerned that the industry at times seems unwilling to embrace the role of the dramatist, and believes that they should tell stories that are simple stories that reflect what is going on in contemporary American society.
