Lauren Matsuda

Lauren Matsuda is a Colorado native. A graduate of UCLA's Professional Certificate in Screenwriting Program and Colorado State University's English and Creative Writing Program, Lauren has been writing original feature-length screenplays since 1997. She has developed her craft through working as a script reader in London, an agency creative director in Chicago, and a freelance scriptwriter in Denver. In 2016, she co-founded BlueFly Pictures to direct and produce feature-length projects. The mission of BlueFly Pictures (Film + Humanism) is to awaken to our shared humanity through stories of triumph and wonder.
