Janna Ignatkova

Janna was born on May 29, 1987 in Moscow, Russia. Best known for The Zohar Secret (2016), Once Upon a Time in Odessa (2016) and The Illusion of Control: The Beginning (2017). Her father worked as a journalist and a TV director. He often used to take his daughter on his official journeys. Janna graduated from music school with a certificate in choir singing. At university, she was the only girl on the course of Sound Engineering. While studying, she started to work in the cinema production of Mosfilm. After 3 years working in Russian cinematography Janna was invited to work on an international project The Zohar Secret as a main sound engineer. A large part of the shooting took place in Israel. During this time, Janna learnt Hebrew perfectly. Now she lives in Israel.
