Rocky Ramsey

Rocky Ramsey was born on September 20, 1990 in San Francisco and raised in Oakland, CA. Rocky attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Film and Television Production program with an emphasis in Directing, Writing, and Producing. Prior to USC, Rocky had a very strong extreme sports background in many different areas, including skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, motocross, car racing, and skydiving. While on the fence about attending Film School, Rocky wanted to become a professional skateboarder and rally car driver. After a near-death accident, Rocky decided to step away from that dream and officially pursue his career as a Filmmaker. During his time at USC, Rocky earned a position at Pixar Animation Studios where he was the youngest employee, working on 'Monsters University' and the beginning stages of 'The Good Dinosaur.' After graduation, he began Producing, 1st Assistant Directing, and Stunt Performing for independent productions, such as Facebook commercials and car commercials. Rocky has Produced music videos for Ultra Records Label, with videos reaching millions of views on YouTube. His debut film MISCREANT was globally well received with 60 Official Film Festival Selections, 23 Award Wins, and 32 Nominations including Best Short Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
