Tony Sam

Tony Sam is a Chicago native who is an accomplished comedian, writer, and producer now living in Los Angeles. He proudly holds a dual degree in both Molecular and Marine Biology. Behind the scenes, he has both written and produced for Discovery's hit talk show, Josh Gates Tonight, which was praised by the online entertainment magazine, Collider. He was also previously head writer and Co-Executive Producer of the hit Food Network/ Cooking Channel show 'Food: Fact or Fiction?' starring the legendary, Michael McKean. He has also written/produced for MTV's 'Ridiculousness', Super Fan Builds (Netflix), Jay Leno's Garage (CNBC) and the Emmy-nominated home renovation hit, Instant Dream Home (Netflix). In front of the camera as an actor he's appeared on TRU TV's Those Who Can't, Hack My Life, Josh Gates Tonight, and in various sketches for Conan on TBS as well as a variety of many national TV commercials. As a stand-up comedian he's performed at prestigious comedy festivals all around the country such as TBS Just For Laughs - Chicago, RIOT LA, BRIDGETOWN, Bumbershoot, and the NY Fringe, among many others. His debut comedy album, "Scaredy Cat," was heralded by Huffington Post and LA WEEKLY named him a "Comic to Watch."
