Samy Ferrenbach

At the age of 18, just after my studies, I moved to Panama to join my mom, who decided to live there; Panama was 5592 miles from my country, far from my family, friends, and habits. At the beginning of that story, I did not know how to speak Spanish; I did not know anyone. I started to knock on the door of every night's clubs, bars, fashions restaurants, hotels, and I said, "Hello, my name is Samy. I'm a French DJ, how about that: "I play a free set for you, if you don't like, that's alright, if you do like, we do business..." By the time I started playing in a few places, and I was able to make a name for myself in the "night world". A few months later, a model agency owner saw me and asked if I'd like to join his agency; I said yes. So, I started to know a lot of people in the show business in Panamá. One day told me: now, I feel useful in the country, started to get used to it, why not do something serious here (I was 19 years old) and that exact day: "My life has changed" paula nani. and I became the younger business owner in town. I decided to open a restaurant with my mom. Then, one year after that, and building upon its success, we did construction work to grow the restaurant bigger, we've been in the top 5 restaurants in the country, presidents, political came to us. Another year came by, and to expand our brand, we opened a beach club (kind of a small Club Med, renting rooms, maritime and land activities, and a restaurant in front of the sea). Our last act was opening a Cabaret in 2018. During my seven years and a half of experience in Panamá, I grew up a lot; I acquired a lot of maturity and knowledge, learned about business, management, and so much more. But during that all time, I had in mind a dream. Six years ago, I decided to learn about the "cinema industry" but I always postponed my plan because of business, family decisions, and time. But then, I realized that time is precious, and we can't go backward, so why postpone something that you want and dream about? So now, here I am in front of you, showing me up, dedicated to my passion which I'm expressing myself and trying as much as I can to dig myself a hole, as small as it is, to one day, be what my dream was about: being an Actor Producer. and few month later here in Los Angeles, I decide to build, make, write, produce and play my own movie "Whatever it takes".
