Ryan David

Ryan David is a Director, Writer, and Producer based in Lisbon, Portugal, and LA. He studied filmmaking and philosophy at NYU. Growing up in South Florida, and Atlanta he developed an interest in the works of Nicolas Roeg, Ken Russel, and John Cassavetes. The paintings of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Alex Grey were also early influences in both style and sensibility. Under an ethos that audiences are touched by the lure of the unfamiliar, Ryan creates films that are original, authentic, and spontaneous.
