Virgo Velasquez

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to hard-working immigrant parents from Central America, Virgo has been passionate about the craft of filmmaking and the liberal arts since his youth. Starting film work in the Winnipeg experimental scene, Virgo currently works in the Vancouver Film and TV industry as an assistant director. Virgo has written and directed an award-winning feature released in 2020 and currently is in the process of finishing his first book for the Fall of 2021.
