Anatole Lardeyret is a young film maker working as a director, actor and editor. He started his career back in his hometown Paris, France where he studied Stanislavsky acting methods at the "Cours Florent" a very prestigious french acting school under the guidance of actor/director Christophe Lorcat. That is when he realized his passion for directing when he started directing scenes and plays. He then joined the "Conservatoire Libre du Cinema Francais" (CLCF) where he studied film making for two years. He then moved to the United States in Los Angeles to pursue his career and joined the New York Film Academy where he acquired his BFA in filmmaking. He started to direct because he was very comfortable working with actors and he find passion in creating a scene and convey complex emotions and philosophical idea through the use of Mise-en-scene, Composition, and thorough understanding of human behaviors. His editing career took off during his time in college where he would edit his own projects and some friend's movies. He really took a liking to it and started to edit professionally as well on Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. He adored editing because of the magic that can happen in the editing room and consider it as the final rewrite of the movie and can make or break a movie. Anatole is also an actor. After graduating in Paris he started to star in plays and commercials. He started his acting career because of his timidity when he was very little and theater helped him communicate and be more extrovert. As he grew up he realized that acting was very important to him because it would let him live life that he could not live and found it tremendously interesting. It was like living multiple lives ! Who wouldn't like living multiple lives? But more importantly it was about emotion and the connection between the actor and the audience and the journey they embark together, for better or worse.
