James Daniel Walsh

James Daniel Walsh was born in Long Beach, California. After a brief flirtation with the priesthood, he focused all of his attention on fulfilling his lifelong dream of being a writer and filmmaker. While raising his daughter, Emily, he wrote and published Bloodshot in 2006. Two years later Bloodshot appeared alongside 33 other original stories in his anthology collection, Manic Expression: A Collection. In 2009, Walsh began writing Stop the Hate on the website ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com. He soon found himself with a loyal fan base that followed him to his own site, Manic-Expression.com in 2012. Since founding the site with pianist Les Launer, Manic Expression has grown into a thriving community of writers and video producers. In 2014, Walsh's first production, the documentary Manic Expression: Creative Chaos, was released. He is also producing an animated feature and will star in A Site in Scarlet and The ABC's of Manic Expression.
