Céline Beran was born in College Station, Texas, to a Czech father, a professor of mathematics and musician, and Indian mother, a research statistician. Growing up in Zurich, she was raised multilingual in English, German, Swiss German and Bengali, and she is fluent in French and Italian. She first trained as a ballet dancer at the Zurich Dance Academy, performing at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York and Tanzolymp Berlin. She later graduated from Drama Studio London and the Trinity Laban Conservatory. She also holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Zurich. Céline played Leyla Güvenç in the SRF (Swiss Radio & Television) series 'Nr. 47'. Her theater credits include The Seagull, Tender Is the Night, French Without Tears, and lead appearances in Yerma as Yerma, and in TINA - The Rock Legend as Tina Turner, performing at venues such as the Wiener Stadthalle, Tempodrom Berlin, Tonhalle Zurich and the Criterion Theatre in London. She now lives in Los Angeles.
