Ashley Agren was born in Sweden and raised in the suburbs of Santa Clarita, California, where she fell in love with filmmaking at the age of 13. Since then she has developed her skills as a head-shot photographer and wedding videographer and enrolled at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. She worked at FPC under Beau Flynn and Wendy Jacobson, and has helped out on projects like "My Dead Ex" and It's Guys Night (2015) in all forms of pre-production. Ashley made her writing, directing, and acting debut in her short film Magnetic Attraction (2014) about a world where people who are literally magnetically attracted to one another must face the fact that they can no longer hide their feelings. Ashley almost always carries her camera with her. Her main focus is capturing the beauty in the world, which she believes you can find anywhere, even if you have to skew your viewpoint to see it. She lives in the moment and loves using her camera to capture what she sees so she can remember those moments and share her perspective with others.
