Chinese fantasy author Yang Zhi, also known by the pen name Jiang Nan, is a novelist. He is also the CEO of Beijing Smart Dragon Cultural Development Co., Ltd. On July 13, 1977, Yang was born in Shucheng County, Anhui, China. Under the instruction of Michael L. Gross, he studied chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis and Peking University. His debut book was titled "There They Were" (Cijian de Shaonian). In China, he is among the best-liked authors among teenagers. The "Novoland: Eagle Flag" (Jiuzhou Piaomiao Lu) and "Dragon Raja" (Longzu) series of novels are among his best-known creations.
