Jonathan Asgari

Jonathan Asgari was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, and grew up off Pico and Urban, up against the 10 freeway, in Santa Monica. In Elementary School, his class would go Christmas caroling at the Santa Monica Place mall, where he got his first taste for performing. Studying Theatre Arts in middle school, high school, and college only further strengthened his resolve. He earned his AA in Theatre Arts at Santa Monica College, studied at The Groundlings for 2 years, when he decided to move out to Hollywood. He studied under the legendary founder of The Groundlings, Gary Austin, for 3 years and also briefly with acting and dialect teacher, the masterful Larry Moss. Jonathan continues his training in the same workshop now taught by the incomparable Wenndy Mackenzie, and recently began studying Film Acting under the skillful guidance of the remarkable Joy Rinaldi.
