Kate grew up just south of Detroit, surrounded by family from "the old country," all Polish farmers and Hungarian gypsies. The Poles were hardworking, frugal, hands-in-the earth people who constantly tended to their gardens, worked at butcher shops and delis, and cooked hearty meals for loved ones. The Hungarian Gypsy side was a creative, partying, boisterous crew that worked in hospitality and factories. Blending the work ethic of the Poles and the passion of the Gypsies, Kate moved to New York City two weeks after turning 18 to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and their partnership with the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She graduated with a BFA in Theater with Honors and immediately dove into the downtown theater and indie film scenes- acting, directing, stage managing, producing. and everything in between. She is a Resident Producer with Infinite Variety Productions, a woman-led non-profit theater company that devises original documentary theatrical experiences and presents them to a global audience. Kate is based in Orlando, Florida. When she isn't acting or producing, Kate can be found practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & yoga; hiking a trail; or chilling at the beach.
