Owumi Ugbeye

Owumi Ugbeye started her journey as a creative as an actress in 2013 after appearing in a starring role on the first Nigerian season of the highly acclaimed HIV&Sexual Health awareness television and web series MTV Shuga. After gathering years of experience under her belt playing major roles on various television, web and stage shows, she decided to pursue her other love - Writing professionally in 2018... But that doesn't mean she doesn't answer when the acting bug bites. She has written and self produced a feature film, No Longer Broken for Netbrake Productions, Written the scripts for Reality cooking show Love Swap with Black Roots Productions for Honey TV, Web Series Becoming The Turners FOR BofMedia TV, Africa Magic's Covenant and a few yet to be released projects. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages (French Major) and speaks English, her native language Itsekiri and some Yoruba as well.
