Flávia Bittencourt is from Brazil. She is one of the most highly praised actresses, singers and songwriters of the country. As an actress, she has participated of some musicals and films. The musical "Mulher" (Woman) - 2015 - was idealized by Flávia Bittencourt along with Ana Botafogo - the first dancer of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro. The musical is about the great women who marked the construction of the values of the Brazilian society. Both Flávia Bittencourt and Ana Botafogo played roles in it. The idea is to represent, through these personalities, the many anonymous Brazilian battlers, who fight daily for equal rights in their different areas of activity through the importance of personalities such as Princesa Isabel, Chiquinha Gonzaga, Bidu Sayão, Tarsila do Amaral, Maria Bonita, Clarice Lispector, Maria da Penha, Gisele Bündchen, Nossa Senhora Aparecida, Iemanjá, Carmem Miranda, Bibi Ferreira e Zuzu Angel. She has also played Mara, a madam in a brothel in the short film "Nossa Senhora do Maranhão" - directed by Neville d'Almeida - 2016. The feature film "Órbitas da água" - 2018 from Frederico Machado, she plays Maria. With Nathalia Timberg, one of the great ladies of the Brazilian Theater, she played Mulher de Palavra - 2014 (Sesc Teresópolis - RJ). Since the age of five, she had an inseparable toy piano which accompanied her until she was a teenager and where she learned her first melodies. Years later, she studied Art at "Unirio" (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). She also studied for some months at Susan Batson Studio in New York in 2017. She has recorded 4 (four) music albums along her career.
