Bree DeLee

Bree DeLee is an American actress from South Carolina. She had always been interested in cinema and sitcoms from an early age and was frequently teased by her siblings for always knowing the personal names and other interests of Hollywood actors. Needless to say Bree had an interest in the acting world. However, she suppressed this desire of theatrical arts and mainly focused on her studies and other extra-curricular activities as an adolescent. After graduating high school she attended The University of South Carolina and like most post high-school graduates she was confused about what career path she wanted to take. It wasn't until her Sophomore year that all of her friends convinced her to take a Fundamentals in Acting class. They would always comment on how comical Bree was and felt that she would excel in that area. After being convinced that she may have "something" she signed up for the class and fell in love with acting. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Theatre then went on to work for a children's theatre company in the DC/ Maryland area. After being employed there for a year Bree felt as if she was ready to tackle living in New York, a long time childhood dream of hers. She moved to New York in 2009. While there she acted in a number of off-off Broadway shows including "I Lost My Heart in Haiti" where she met the creator of Boughetto. In early 2013 the creator, Michelle Anglin, contacted Bree to be a part of the new web-series that addressed "real" everyday African-American women with real issues. Bree gladly accepted and has been passionate about the Boughetto (2014) project ever since. She resides in LA continuing to pursue a career in TV and Film.
