Ethan Holt is a writer, director, and actor living in Boise, Idaho. As a young child growing up, he enjoyed filming his toys going on spectacular adventures in his room by using the family's VHS camcorder. Initially, in his childhood, Ethan was interested in becoming an author, being such a fan of books. At the age of nine, he bought himself a camera and began filming with his friend and frequent collaborator, Dylan Grzanic, nearly every week, combining his love for storytelling with his attraction to visual imagery. Beginning by uploading videos to YouTube, Ethan and Dylan became self-taught filmmakers. In high school, Ethan and Dylan teamed up with Joshua Webb and started making short films. Their first success was with their short film, The Mind Absent of Silence, a film that Ethan wrote and directed in 2014. Following this short film, Ethan, Dylan and Joshua launched their website, Errant Vision Films, to serve as a platform to unify all their various projects. Ethan's life-long obsession with storytelling and film continues to push him to new places. He currently attends university, reads books, watches movies, cries, and makes coffee for people. (2015)
