Nakita Knudson

Nakita Knudson is an artist born and raised in Washington State. Being the first generation Washingtonian, her family is based out of New York and has deep settled roots in Brooklyn. Apart from the big city, she grew up in a small mining town against the Cascade Mountains, where her house was nestled in the corner of deep woods and cougar country. Despite threats of wild life, she was allowed to play and discover the treasures of nature on the daily, and constantly found herself in adventures deep within the forest. After graduating high school, Nakita moved to Spokane to live in the city and study the arts. She currently holds remarks of a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Studio Art, and two minors both in Music and Humanities. Her skills in Graphic Design come from 8 years of in field experience, working on promotional projects for small businesses to re-branding concepts for established businesses. Having visited her families home state in New York on multiple occasions, and being a cultured world traveler to places in Europe, she aspires to continue to travel the world to add to her many vast and expansive experiences. Her aspiration is to help move art into the next movement and style. With contemporary arts at the forefront, she believes that urban street art is the new apex of the visual world. Although many of her projects have been specific and obscure, she considers herself a Jack of all trades. She believes if she doesn't know about it, she can learn about it, and apply that knowledge in most circumstances to the project at hand.
