Comedian, circus performer, actor. Joel Baker brings to the stage a unique style of physical comedy, charisma, and improvisation. He is a graduate of San Francisco's Circus Center and Conservatory, launching his career as an acrobat, actor, and physical comedian in San Francisco's legendary New Pickle Circus. Joel is a graduate of UNLV, and has been fortunate enough to study under American theatre director Anne Bogart and acclaimed actor Nate Bynum. For seven years, Joel was a key performer and additionally served as an Artistic Coach in the award-winning Cirque du Soleil show The Beatles' LOVE on the Las Vegas Strip. And in 2010, Joel had the honor of performing under the direction of James Cameron in the film Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away. He is a three-time returning director for Circus Bella with other directorial credits including the show ALIS in Italy's Le Cirque World's Top Performers and the Nevada Ballet Choreographer's Showcase. Joel has performed main roles in Cirkopolis by Cirque Eloize at The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, Inc., and LOFT by The 7 Fingers (Les 7 Doigts de la Main), and appeared on the national television shows "America's Got Talent," "The View," and "The Night that Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles."
