Anna Lovisa Håkansdotter Wallin, better known as Lovisa Håkansdotter Wallin, was born September 7th, 1976, in Björsäter, Skaraborg, Sweden. Her parents are Ing-Marie Wallin and Håkan Svensson. Lovisa was always fascinated by music, movies and fine arts and she was just 4 years old when she started dreaming about being an actress. During her high school years, she was a lead singer in the school choir and she took drama classes and starred in the schools theater and musical shows. Lovisa loved this, but Lovisa's main interest throughout life was horses after she started riding at the local riding school at the age of 6. After finishing school she began working with horses professionally and she got her instructor education at the Swedish National Equestrian Center, Strömsholm and Flyinge. During the years she has worked for several top riders, including the Swedish Olympic Games medalist, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Lovisa has also competed and trained horses herself as well as being a riding instructor. Later she returned to her old passion, music and theater. She started playing and singing in a local band as well as performing on her own in the area. In 2010, Lovisa's mother saw an ad where the Danish movie company Zentropa was looking for extras to star in Lars von Trier's movie Melancholia (2011). Lovisa applied and after a call from the Danish casting crew she got the role of a wedding guest and got to film alongside Alexander Skarsgård, Kirsten Dunst, and Kiefer Sutherland among others. This became a turning point for Lovisa and she pursued her acting dream. After finishing Melancholia, Lovisa got small rolls in several Swedish TV series and movies, such as the award winning show The Bridge (2011), [error], People in the Sun (2011) and Irene Huss - Ring of Silence (2011). She also starred as the main character's mother in the short movie "Markus" (2012) and also wrote and recorded the main theme song for the movie. 2013 she got involved with a new, local, upcoming production company, Affekt Film, and got roles in their productions. She also got hired to translate academy winner Jared Leto's award winning documentary Artifact #1 (2011). 2015 Lovisa was asked to work as the CD of the company's coming movie Tjuvjägaren (2016). Lovisa has studied psychology, special education, creative writing alongside her equine studies. She also got a teacher's diploma and a degree in behavioral science. She plays the guitar, piano and sings and in her free time she enjoys photographing, practicing the fine arts, nature and spending time with friends
