Teresa Gilhooly

Teresa was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her parents and grandparents always encouraged her love of acting. Teresa's love for theater started when she saw her first class play at the age of 6. Teresa & her little sister, Jacqueline, auditioned for the musical, "Carousel", in Manhattan when they were 9 and 8 years old respectively and were cast as the sisters, Lily & Daisy Snow. Teresa continued to act in junior high and high school as well as being a member of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. She went on to study at Boston University (BU) in Boston, Massachusetts. While at BU Teresa was an actor, director, writer, producer, projection designer, and Treasurer & President in Athena's Players, Stage Troupe, Children's Theater and On Broadway. She also co-founded Actors for Life Theater Company with her friends in New York, NY during the summer while she was home from College. Actors for Life had a special free performance for children with serious illnesses of their production of the
