Jesse Rutherford is a British actor who is known for The Halcyon (2017) and EastEnders (1985). He was born and raised in the London Borough of Camden. He attended Quintin Kynaston Community Academy in North West London as a teenager, and later went on to study acting at Rose Bruford College in South East London, graduating in 2013. In 2014, he performed the lead role of Hendrix in the premiere of Bruntwod Prizewinner Anna Jordan's 'Chicken Shop' at the Park Theatre, London, to excellent reviews. The production was awarded 'London Fringe Production of the Year 2014' by West End Frame. In 2017, Jesse appeared in The Halcyon (2017) as Terry Burrows and in Doctors (2000) as Luke Grayling. He is of Irish/Scottish-Canadian ancestry.
